But despite my oldness (my students guessed I was 42, by the way!!!), I'm coping. This birthday actually turned into a fun day. My kids were very excited for the cake and candles, of course.
Jeremy sent me flowers and balloons to school, which is what set up the age guessing game on behalf of my students. Then, for dinner we went to the Texas Roadhouse because I love their rolls! Unfortunately Berlynn gave me up and announced that It was her mommy's birthday. So out comes the saddle and the yelling!
Once we returned home, we ate cake and I got to open all of my presents. Berlynn drew me a beautiful picture, although I'm not entirely sure of what. Plus, she picked out a very beautiful singing princess card for me. Paris made me flowers out of pipe cleaners. I love them very much! Then Jeremy gave me the A&E romance collection. It had "over 30 hours of uninterrupted romance!"
My eyes got big after I opened it and I said, "Oh honey, we're going to have a fun weekend!!!"
Jeremy stumbled over his words and finally spit out, "I thought you would like it when a game is on that you're not in the mood to watch, or when you're bored because I'm working late or something."
Yeah, I have time to get bored, hahaha! Well, I'm excited to watch my 7 hour tow disk special of Pride and Prejudice!
Jeremy is a gift giver, that's his language of love. When I thought all of the presents were out and over with Jeremy pulled out the Wii fit for a surprise encore present! It was great. The girls were so excited it was worth it.
I'm too nice, I let the girls stay up late and we all set up our profiles. It was funny though because I set up my profile and did my balance test and it says, "You have bad balance, do you trip over your feet often?"
Hummm, let me think... yup. I have fallen, and I mean totally fallen down our stairs not once, not twice, three times!
It was a very good day! It was fun to turn on my computer and have happy birthday wishes all over facebook. And even texts, emails, and so on! It made me feel so special, even if it does mean I'm old. Thanks everyone!
