Blog Guilt

Yes it's true, I've been horrible at updating my blog lately. I have blog guilt! We've had a wonderful Christmas break, I wish I could post pictures, but right before Christmas we went to the girls gymnastics recital and Berlynn dropped our camera and it broke.

Santa brought our family a Wii for Christmas, and we all love it. Paris is playing baseball right now. It was really funny to watch Jeremy fight Darth Vader with his light saver.

Berlynn turned five on the 30th. We didn't know what to do for her birthday, it's such a tricky time of year, right after Christmas. We ended up at Chucky Cheese's for a very last minute party. It was sooooo crowded, it took them like an hour and a half to bring out our pizza, I'm not even kidding! But Berlynn got to dance with Chucky Cheese, no one can tell her it wasn't the best birthday ever.

Basketball season is on, we're officially finished with our pre-season games. My Sophomore team is 5 & 1, our varsity team holds the same record. I knew I would love coaching, what I didn't know was how much time it would consume. Most weeks we play 2 games. On game days I end up being gone from 6:30 in the morning until 10 or 11 at night. 16 or 17 hour days. But it is so rewarding to watch the girls improve their game. Jeremy has picked up a lot of the house work and has rushed home to be with the kids so I can go coach. I wouldn't be able to do it if Jeremy wasn't willing to do so much. The girls love daddy nights, of course. Usually it means their favorite dinner, pizza! It also means movie night for them. Jeremy loves to take them to blockbuster to let them choose a movie, then he pops popcorn and watches a princess movie with the girls. Who would have thought Jeremy could pull off the princess thing so well with our family of girls!

The highlight of our Christmas vacation was visiting St. George for the new year. We stayed in a hotel and made a vacation of it! The girls went swimming every day (sometimes 2 x). We got to visit our families and play with cousins. I even got to hit the town for a little girls night out with some old friends! We were up all night laughing. I felt young again! It's true, I don't get out enough! The best part was the warm weather, 50 degree nights, 60 degree sunny days! I love winter time in St. George. I forget how beautiful all of the red dirt is until I get down and visit.

I'll get the camera up and running so I can post some pictures!

Yey, you updated! Great Job. So sorry to hear about your camera - I would seriously have a meltdown if mine broke. As it is, I need a new one, but the one I want is $300+, yeah, like that is going to happen anytime soon.

I hope you can find the right place to fix the camera that really does suck! So do you have WiFi hooked up to your Wii??? We have already challenged the Noice's to MarioKart over the WiFi and had a blast....we got our Wii this Christmas too and have loved it! Let me know if your up to the challenge???
